WTF REVISED MATCH RULES PASS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE |
On December 15, 2008, at Ankara, Turkey, World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) Executive Committee passed revisions to match rules and articles of association. Along with these revisions, WTF World Ranking was also approved by the committee. GREAT BRITAIN POOMSAE TEAM FLY OUT TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS |
The BTCB Great Britain Poomsae Team will fly out to fly out this Friday 12th December to participate at the 3rd WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Ankara, Turkey. The team will spend a few days preparing for the event which is expected to be the largest to date with more than 60 countries and 500 athletes expected to attend. The three-day event will run from the 16th 18th December and will be held over three rings in the ASKI Sport Hall, which is the biggest and most modern indoor stadium in Ankara. FUNDING INCREASES BY 68.3% TO 4.49M FOR LONDON 2012 TAEKWONDO ATHLETES |

RESULTS FROM ULTIMATE TAEKWONDO OPEN POSTED |
You can now find the full results from last weekends Ultimate Taekwondo Open listed in our Results section. This competition was attended by Taekwondo teams from all over the UK, including a strong showing from London based clubs.
All though there were a few teething problems with one of the rings at the start of the competition, and a few people in the wrong grade categories, it was good to see some players that we rarely see at northern competitions.
